computers slice both ways. it can make your life a breeze, and at the same time wreck it just cause we're all so dependent on it. unless you're a real urban hermit, it's unlikely that you don't need some IT in your life. for tech idiots like me (IT for dummies totally don't help) anytime your 'trustie' computer burns, you're suffering frm worse burns than the comp. i'm already having 3rd degree burns frm being stripped of a working computer. what i'm having now is a totally substandard one. i just bought the comp like less than a yr ago. darn compaq!

the other day, my mom was mentioning that she saw this sony robot on tv (whatever name it's called) and it could move almost like a human! call it some big step in human invention, but the truth is it's also a sign that we're a step closer to having robots so human like that bicentenial man might not be fiction anymore. scary thought. i wouldn't wanna interact with a robot in that manner. i'm old fashioned in this sense. i like real human contact.

went to evan's granny's wake yesterday with uncle richard and my dad. ellie, i really admire your gramps. he's one fiercely independent senior. if i've got a hat on now, i'll tip it to him (too bad i'm not into hats. i look odd in it) uncle richard's still driving at his age (think he's 80), taking photos, looking after himself and reading the Bible without any glasses!!! and little hannah mok treats uncle richard as a gd friend. hahha ain't it so cute?
