The world is getting exponentially sinful ad degraded. My colleague told me that her church friend, a social worker, had to deal with more and more cases of primary school children with porn issues. One boy even asked his sister to perform the act on him and both kids ended up incest. Ahhhhh! So disturbing!

What's wrong with our world?! Shouldn't children be kept pure? Why are they exposed to such horrible material that pollute their minds? The Internet and media is not doing good, and ready access to electronic devices in our country is not helping.

While one could seek to install child-safe computer filters, these can only so that much. Parents, extended family members and caregivers play a more crucial role to inculcate values and set the right example for the child to follow.

I'm sooo worried for Jon. The world he would grow up and live in will be a horrifically different one from ours. Must really have him rooted in Christ and to have him exercise God-given wisdom to deal with these issues. We can only do so much to protect him from being exposed to such unhealthy influences, but there will be situations when he will be confronted with these situations himself and only God can help him.

I think we should seek to bring our kids back to basics. Don't need to over expose them to city life at a young age, cos there will be ample opportunities in future whether we like it or not. Time to go back to family picnics at parks, cycling trips, walks in the gardens or nature reserves etc..
